Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10364 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ خَالَوَيْهِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ «كَانَ رَجُلَانِ مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ بَيْنَهُمَا غُلَامٌ فَأَعْتَقَهُ أَحَدُهُمَا فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَضَمَّنَهُ إِيَّاهُ وَكَانَتْ لَهُ غُنَيْمَةٌ قَرِيبٌ مِنْ مِائَةِ شَاةٍ فَبَاعَهَا فَأَعْطَاهُ صَاحِبَهُ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) drew a straight line, then drew lines on its right and left. He said: "This is the path of Allah." Then he pointed to the other lines and said: "These are paths; upon each one is a devil calling to it." Then he recited: "And verily, this is My straight path, so follow it" (6:153).
