Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:10110 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَأَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ قَالَا ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْفُرَاتِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الْكِنْدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَعْيُنِ الْعَبْدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ الْجُشَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ سَأَلْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْقِرَدَةِ وَالْخَنَازِيرِ مِنْ نَسْلِ الْيَهُودِ هُمْ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ لَمْ يَلْعَنْ قَوْمًا قَطُّ فَمَسَخَهُمْ فَكَانَ لَهُمْ نَسْلٌ حَتَّى يُهْلِكَهُمْ وَلَكِنْ هَذَا خَلْقٌ كَانَ فَلَمَّا غَضِبَ اللهُ ﷻ عَلَى الْيَهُودِ مَسَخَهُمْ فَجَعَلَهُمْ مِثْلَهُمْ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
We asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) about the apes and pigs — are they the offspring of the Jews? The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Most High never cursed a people and then transformed them so that they had offspring until He destroyed them. Rather, these (apes and pigs) were a creation that already existed. When Allah Most High became angry with the Jews, He transformed them and made them resemble these creatures."
