Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:972 وَحَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَا ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبَانُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ سَلْمَى أُمِّ رَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ قَالَ جَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ يَسْتَأْذِنُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَذِنَ لَهُ فَأَبْطَأَ عَلَيْهِ وَأَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رِدَاءَهُ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ بِالْبَابِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ أذِنَّا فَقَالَ أَجَلْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَلَكِنَّا لَا نَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ وَلَا صُورَةٌ فَوَجَدُوا جَرْوًا فِي بَعْضِ بُيُوتِهُمْ قَالَ أَبُو رَافِعٍ فَأَمَرَنِي حِينَ أَصْبَحْتُ فَلَمْ أَدَعْ بِالْمَدِينَةِ كَلْبًا إِلَّا قَتَلْتُهُ فَإِذَا بِامْرَأَةٍ قَاصِيَةٍ لَهَا كَلْبٌ يَنْبَحُ عَلَيْهَا فَرَحِمْتُهَا فَتَرَكْتُهُ وَجِئْتُ فَأَمَرَنِي فَرَجَعْتُ إِلَى الْكَلْبِ فَقَتَلْتُهُ فَقَالَ النَّاسُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا يَحِلُّ لَنَا مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ الَّتِي أَمَرْتَ بِقَتْلِهَا؟ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {يَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا أُحِلَّ لَهُمْ قُلْ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ}
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Rafi' narrated: Jibril came seeking permission to enter upon the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He gave him permission, but he delayed. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) took his cloak and stood up — and Jibril was standing at the door. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "We gave you permission." He said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah, but we do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image." They found a puppy in one of the rooms. Abu Rafi' said: He commanded me the next morning, and I did not leave a dog in Madinah except that I killed it. There was a woman living on the outskirts who had a dog that barked to guard her, and I took pity on her and left it. When I returned, he ordered me to go back and kill the dog. The people said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is lawful for us from this creature that you ordered to be killed?" So Allah the Mighty and Majestic revealed: {They ask you what has been made lawful for them. Say: Lawful for you are the good things...}
