الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated from Abd al-Razzaq, from Ibn Uyaynah, from al-A'mash, from al-Qasim ibn Abd al-Rahman, from his father who said: A man and a woman were brought to Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, having been found together under one blanket. He lashed each of them forty lashes and made them stand before the people. The families of the woman and the man went and complained about that to Umar ibn al-Khattab. Umar said to Ibn Mas'ud: 'What do these people say?' He said: 'I did that.' He said: 'Did you see it (for yourself)?' He said: 'Yes.' They said: 'We came to him seeking redress, but he is asking him (to confirm)!'
