Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9644 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ قَالَا ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ قَالَا ثنا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ وَمَسْرُوقٍ وَعُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ «عِدَّةُ الْمُطَلَّقَةِ مِنْ حِينِ تُطَلَّقُ وَالْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا مِنْ حِينِ يُتَوَفَّى وَمَنْ شَاءَ قَاسَمْتُهُ أَنَّ سُورَةَ الْقُصْرَى أُنْزِلَتْ بَعْدَ الْبَقَرَةِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Khalid al-Harrani narrated to us, from his father, and Yusuf al-Qadi and Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Tammar both narrated, from Amr ibn Marzuq, both from Zuhayr, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Aswad, Masruq, and Ubaydah, from Abdullah who said: 'The waiting period of the divorced woman starts from when she is divorced, and that of the widow from when her husband dies. And I am willing to swear an oath that the short Surah (al-Talaq) was revealed after (Surah) al-Baqarah.'
