Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9359 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ دَخَلَ عَبْدُ اللهِ الْمَسْجِدَ وَدَخَلَ مَعَهُ فَرَكَعَ الْإِمَامُ فَرَكَعْنَا قَبْلَ أَنِ انْتَهَيْنَا إِلَى الصَّفِّ ثُمَّ انْتَهَيْنَا إِلَى الصَّفِّ حِينَ قَالَ الْإِمَامُ سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ الْإِمَامُ قَامَ صَاحِبُ عَبْدِ اللهِ لِيَقْضِيَ فَأَخَذَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بِثَوْبِهِ فَقَالَ «اجْلِسْ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكْتَ الصَّلَاةَ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) entered the mosque and entered with him (a companion). The imam bowed, so they bowed before reaching the row. They reached the row just as the imam said 'Sami' Allahu liman hamidah.' When the imam said the salam, Abdullah's companion stood to make up (the missed rak'ah), but Abdullah grabbed his garment and said: 'Sit down, for you have caught the prayer.'
