Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8650 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ مَاتَ رَجُلٌ فَجَاءَتْهُ مَلَائِكَةُ الْعَذَابِ فَجَلَسُوا عِنْدَ رَأْسِهِ فَقَالَ لَا سَبِيلَ لَكُمْ إِلَيْهِ قَدْ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ سُورَةَ الْمُلْكِ فَجَلَسُوا عِنْدَ رِجْلَيْهِ فَقَالَ لَا سَبِيلَ لَكُمْ إِلَيْهِ قَدْ كَانَ يَقُومُ عَلَيْنَا بِسُورَةِ الْمُلْكِ فَجَلَسُوا عِنْدَ بَطْنِهِ فَقَالَ لَا سَبِيلَ لَكُمْ إِنَّهُ قَدْ وَعَى فِيَّ سُورَةَ الْمُلْكِ فَسُمِّيَتِ الْمَانِعَةَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said: "A man died and the angels of punishment came to his head, but it said: 'You have no way to reach me — he used to recite Surah al-Mulk.' They went to his feet, and they said: 'You have no way to reach me — he used to stand on me (praying) with Surah al-Mulk.' They went to his belly, and it said: 'You have no way to reach me — he used to memorize Surah al-Mulk within me.' So it (Surah al-Mulk) is the one that protects. It is called 'al-Mani'ah' (the Protector) in the Torah."
