Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8639 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ ذَكَرُوا لَهُ رَجُلًا يَقُصُّ فَجَاءَ فِي الْقَوْمِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «سُبْحَانَ اللهِ كَذَا وَكَذَا» فَلَمَّا سَمِعَ ذَلِكَ قَامَ فَقَالَ «أَلَا تَسْمَعُوا؟» فَلَمَّا نَظَرُوا إِلَيْهِ قَالَ «إِنَّكُمْ لَأَهْدَى مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابِهِ إِنَّكُمْ لَمُتَمَسِّكُونَ بِطَرَفِ ضَلَالَةٍ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
A man who used to give reminders was mentioned to 'Abdullah. He went and sat among the people and heard him saying: "Glorify Allah such-and-such times." When he heard that, he stood up and said: "Listen!" When they looked at him, he said: "You are either holding on to a darker guidance than that of Muhammad (peace be upon him), or you are clinging to the gate of misguidance."
