Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:834 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْقَطِرَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ حِسَابٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الْمُعَلَّى بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ سَرِيعٍ قَالَ بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ سَرِيَّةً فَلَقُوا فَتَتَابَعُوا فِي الْقَتْلِ حَتَّى أَفْضَوْا إِلَى الْوِلْدَانِ فَلَمَّا رَجَعَتِ السَّرِيَّةُ رَقَى ذَلِكَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «أَلَمْ أَنْهَكُمْ؟» فَقَالُوا إِنَّمَا هُمْ أَوْلَادُ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَقَالَ «أَوَلَيْسَ خِيَارُكُمْ أَوْلَادَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ» ثُمَّ أَمَرَ مُنَادِيًا فَنَادَى «أَلَا إِنَّ كُلَّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Al-Aswad ibn Sari' narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sent a military expedition, and they met the enemy and continued in killing until they reached the children. When the expedition returned, this reached the Prophet (peace be upon him), and he said: "Did I not forbid you?" They said: "They were only the children of polytheists." He said: "Are not the best among you the children of polytheists?" Then he ordered a caller to announce: "Indeed, every child is born upon the fitrah."
