Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:7943 حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَمَّا خَلَقَ اللهُ ﷻ الْخَلْقَ وَقَضَى الْقَضِيَّةَ أَخَذَ أَهْلَ الْيَمِينِ بِيَمِينِهِ وَأَهْلَ الشِّمَالِ بِشِمَالِهِ فَقَالَ يَا أَصْحَابَ الْيَمِينِ قَالُوا لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ قَالَ أَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ؟ قَالُوا بَلَى قَالَ يَا أَصْحَابَ الشِّمَالِ قَالُوا لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ قَالَ أَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ؟ قَالُوا بَلَى ثُمَّ خَلَطَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَقَالَ قَائِلٌ يَا رَبِّ لِمَ خَلَطْتَ بَيْنَهُمْ؟ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَعْمَالٌ مِنْ دُونِ ذَلِكَ هُمْ لَهَا عَامِلُونَ أَنْ يَقُولُوا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّا كُنَّا عَنْ هَذَا غَافِلِينَ ثُمَّ رَدَّهُمْ فِي صُلْبِ آدَمَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "When Allah the Mighty and Majestic created the creation and decreed the decree, He took the people of the right in His right hand and the people of the left in His left hand. He said: 'O people of the right.' They said: 'At Your service and at Your pleasure.' He said: 'Am I not your Lord?' They said: 'Yes.' Then He said: 'O people of the left.' They said: 'At Your service and at Your pleasure.' He said: 'Am I not your Lord?' They said: 'Yes.' Then He mixed them together. Someone said: 'O Lord, why did You mix them?' He said: 'They will have deeds beyond that which they will do, so that they cannot say on the Day of Resurrection: Indeed, we were unaware of this.' Then He returned them to the loins of Adam."
