Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:7854 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ زَحْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «عَائِدُ الْمَرِيضِ يَخُوضُ فِي الرَّحْمَةِ» وَوَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «فَإِذَا جَلَسَ عِنْدَهُ غَمَرَتْهُ الرَّحْمَةُ وَمِنْ تَمَامِ عِيَادَةِ الْمَرِيضِ أَنْ يَضَعَ أَحَدُكُمْ يَدَهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ أَوْ عَلَى يَدِهِ فَيَسْأَلَهُ كَيْفَ هُوَ وَتَمَامُ مَحَبَّتِكُمْ بَيْنَكُمِ ا��ْمُصَافَحَةُ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The one visiting the sick wades through mercy" - and the Messenger of Allah placed his hands on his knees - then said: "When he sits beside him, mercy envelops him. And from the completeness of visiting the sick is that one of you should place his hand on his face or his hand and ask him how he is. And the completion of your love between you is the handshake."
