الترجمة الإنجليزية
Salamah ibn al-Akwa' said: "We traveled with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and the people ran short of provisions. They came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) seeking permission to slaughter their camels. He permitted them. Then 'Umar met them and they told him, so he went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what will become of the people if they slaughter their camels?' So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Call out to the people to bring whatever provisions they have left.' They spread out a leather mat and brought whatever was left of their provisions. The Prophet (peace be upon him) stood and supplicated for blessings, and they filled every vessel they had. Then he said: 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah.'"
