Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:5734 حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ لَمَّا تَلَاعَنَّا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اقْبِضْهَا إِلَيْكَ حَتَّى تَلِدَ فَإِنْ تَلِدْهُ أَحْمَرَ مِثْلَ وَحَرَةٍ فَهُوَ لِأَبِيهِ عُوَيْمِرٍ الَّذِي انْتَفَى مِنْهُ وَإِنْ تَلِدْهُ أَسْوَدَ اللِّسَانِ وَالشَّعْرِ فَهُوَ لِابْنِ السَّحْمَاءِ» الرَّجُلِ الَّذِي يَرْمِي بِهِ قَالَ عُوَيْمِرٌ فَلَمَّا وَلَدَتْهُ أَتَيْتُ بِهِ فَاسْتَقْبَلَنِي مِثْلَ الْفَرْوَةِ السَّوْدَاءِ ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُ بِلِحْيَيْهِ فَاسْتَقْبَلَنِي لِسَانُهُ مِثْلُ التَّمْرَةِ فَقُلْتُ صَدَقَ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sahl ibn Sa'd narrated: When the li'an took place, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Keep her with you until she gives birth. If she gives birth to a red child like a lizard, he belongs to his father 'Uwaymir who denied him. If she gives birth to one who is dark-skinned with dark hair, he belongs to the son of al-Sahma'" — the man she was accused with. 'Uwaymir said: When she gave birth, what met me looked like a black fleece. I took hold of his jaw and saw his tongue was like a date. I said: "Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth."
