Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:5511 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ وَحَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ حَمْدَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سَرِيعٍ الْكُوفِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ مُوسَى الصَّغِيرِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَابِطٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ حِذْيَمٍ قَالَ بَلَغَ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ لَا يَدَّخِرُ فِي بَيْتِهِ مِنَ الْحَاجَةِ فَبَعَثَ إِلَيْهِ بِعَشْرَةِ آلَافٍ فَأَخَذَهَا فَجَعَلَ يُفَرِّقُهَا صُرَرًا فَقَالَتْ لَهُ امْرَأَتُهُ أَيْنَ تَذْهَبُ بِهَذِهِ قَالَ أَذْهَبُ بِهَا إِلَى مَنْ يُرَجِّحُ لَنَا فِيهَا فَمَا أَبْقَى مِنْهَا إِلَّا شَيْئًا يَسِيرًا فَلَمَّا نَفَذَ الَّذِي كَانَ عِنْدَهُمْ قَالَتْ لَهُ امْرَأَتُهُ اذْهَبْ إِلَى بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِكَ الَّذِينَ أَعْطَيْتَهُمْ يُرَجِّحُونَ لَكَ فَخُذْ مِنْ أرْبَاحِهِمْ وَجَعَلَ يُدَافِعُهَا ويُمَاطِلُهَا حَتَّى طَالَ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَوْ أَنَّ حُورًا أَطْلَعَتْ أُصْبُعًا مِنْ أَصَابِعِهَا لَوَجَدَ رِيحَهَا كُلُّ ذِي رُوحٍ» فَأَنَا أَدَعُهُنَّ لَكِنْ وَاللهِ لَأَنْتُنَّ أَحَقُّ أَنْ أَدَعَكُنَّ لَهُنَّ مِنْهُنَّ لَكُنَّ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sa'id ibn 'Amir ibn Hidhyam said: When 'Umar heard that he kept nothing in his house, he sent him ten thousand (dirhams). He took them and divided them into bundles. His wife said: "Where are you going with that?" He said: "I am taking it to those who will multiply it for us." He gave it away until very little remained. When what they had ran out, his wife said: "Go to your friends whom you gave and take from their profits." He kept putting her off until she persisted. He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'If one of the women of Paradise were to reveal a finger of hers, every living being would smell her fragrance.' I am leaving them for you — but by Allah, you are more deserving to be left for them than they for you."
