Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:5442 حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الْعَيْشِيُّ ثنا سُوَيْدٌ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عَلَى بَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ نَتَذَاكَرُ يَنْزِعُ هَذَا بِآيَةٍ ويَنْزِعُ هَذَا بِآيَةٍ فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كَأَنَّمَا تَفَقَّأَ فِي وَجْهِهِ حَبُّ الرُّمَّانِ فَقَالَ «يَا هَؤُلَاءِ أَبِهَذَا بُعِثْتُمْ؟ أَمْ بِهَذَا أُمِرْتُمْ؟ لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri said: We were sitting at the door of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), discussing — one quoting a verse and another quoting a verse. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came out to us, his face red as if pomegranate seeds were bursting from it, and he said: "O people, is this what you were sent for? Is this what you were commanded? Do not revert to disbelief after me, striking each other's necks."
