Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:5253a حَدَّثَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ سَعْدَانَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ أَنَّ رَبِيعَةَ بْنَ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ مَوْلَى الْمُنْبَعِثِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ ضَالَّةِ الْغَنَمِ؟ فَقَالَ «هِيَ لَكَ أَوْ لِأَخِيكَ أَوْ لِلذِّئْبِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani narrated that a man died at the time of the Messenger of Allah on the Day of Khaybar. It was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he said: "Pray over your companion." The people's faces changed. He said: "Indeed, your companion has stolen from the spoils in the cause of Allah." They searched his belongings and found some beads that were not even worth two dirhams.
