Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:5149 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قِيلَ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ إِنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ جَارِيَةَ قَدْ مَاتَ فَقَالَ «رَحِمَهُ اللهُ» فَقِيلَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنَّهُ تَرَكَ مِائَةَ أَلْفٍ قَالَ «وَلَكِنَّهَا لَمْ تَتْرُكْهُ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Zayd ibn Arqam said: A man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and accepted Islam, then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) taught him Surah al-Zalzalah (Chapter 99: "When the earth is shaken") and several surahs. The man said: "That is sufficient for me." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The man has succeeded, if he is truthful."
