الترجمة الإنجليزية
Rabi'ah ibn 'Ibad al-Dayli said: I was with my father and we were young men — and I was a boy — and I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) going to the tribes during the pilgrimage season and saying: "O people, indeed Allah commands you to worship Him alone and not associate anything with Him." Behind him was a squinting man with two braids of hair, saying: "This man is commanding you to leave the religion of your fathers." I asked: "Who is this?" They said: "His uncle Abu Lahab."
