Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:4122 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ثنا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْكَلْبِيُّ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ أَنَّ خَالِدَ بْنَ حَكِيمٍ مَرَّ بِأَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ الْجَرَّاحِ وَهُوَ يُعَذِّبُ النَّاسَ فِي الْجِزْيَةِ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَمَا سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَشَدُّهُمْ عَذَابًا فِي الدُّنْيَا» فَقَالَ اذْهَبْ فَخَلِّ سَبِيلَهُمْ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Khalid ibn Hakim reported that he passed by Abu 'Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah while he was punishing people regarding the jizya. He said to him: "Did you not hear the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'The most severely punished people on the Day of Resurrection are those who most severely punish in this world?'" He said: "Go and release them."
