Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:4002 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ بُكَيْرًا حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ تِعْلَى قَالَ غَزَوْنَا مَعَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ فَأُتِيَ بِأَرْبَعَةِ أَعْلَاجٍ مِنَ الْعَدُوِّ فَأَمَرَ بِهِمْ فَقُتِلُوا صَبْرًا بِالنَّبْلِ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ أَبَا أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «يَنْهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ الصَّبْرِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
'Ubayd ibn Ti'la said: "We went on an expedition with 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Khalid ibn al-Walid, and four non-Arab prisoners from the enemy were brought. He ordered them to be killed by being tied up and shot with arrows. When this reached Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, he said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbid killing by confinement [i.e., tying up and using as a target].'"
