Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:3830 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا مَسْعُودُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الْجُعْفِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْأَشْتَرِ قَالَ كَانَ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ يَضْرِبُ النَّاسَ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ قَالَ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَرِيَّةٍ فَأَصَبْنَا أَهْلَ بَيْتٍ كَانُوا وَحَّدُوا فَقَالَ عَمَّارٌ قَدِ احْتَجَزَ هَؤُلَاءِ مِنَّا بِتَوْحِيدِهِمْ فَلَمْ أَلْتَفِتْ إِلَى قَوْلِ عَمَّارٍ فَقَالَ أَمَا لَأُخْبِرَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ شَكَانِي إِلَيْهِ فَلَمَّا رَأَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَا يَقْتَصُّ مِنِّي أَدْبَرَ وَعَيْنَاهُ تَدْمَعَانِ فَرَدَّهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «يَا خَالِدُ لَا تَسُبَّ عَمَّارًا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ سَبَّ عَمَّارًا سَبَّهُ اللهُ وَمَنْ يُبْغِضُ عَمَّارًا أَبْغَضَهُ وَمَنْ سَفَّهَ عَمَّارًا سَفَّهَهُ اللهُ» فَقَالَ خَالِدٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ اسْتَغْفِرْ لِي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَوَاللهِ مَا مَنَعَنِي أَنْ أُحِبَّهُ إِلَّا تَسْفِيهي إِيَّاهُ قَالَ خَالِدٌ فَمَا مِنْ ذُنُوبِي شَيْءٌ أَخْوَفَ عِنْدِي مِنْ تَسْفِيهي عَمَّارًا
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Khalid ibn al-Walid said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sent me on a military expedition. We came upon a household who had declared monotheism (tawhid). Ammar said: These people have protected themselves from us by their declaration of monotheism. But I did not heed Ammar's words. He said: I will inform the Messenger of Allah. When we came to the Messenger of Allah, he complained about me. When the Prophet saw that he was not going to punish me, Ammar turned away with tears in his eyes. The Prophet called him back and said: "O Khalid, do not insult Ammar, for whoever insults Ammar, Allah will insult him; whoever hates Ammar, Allah will hate him; and whoever belittles Ammar, Allah will belittle him." Khalid said: O Messenger of Allah, ask forgiveness for me! By Allah, nothing prevented me from loving him except my belittling of him. Khalid said: There is nothing among my sins that I fear more than my belittling of Ammar.
