Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:3542 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زُغْبَةَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنْ أَبِي جُمُعَةَ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سِبَاعٍ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ وَنَسِيَ الْعَصْرَ فَقَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ «هَلْ رَأَيْتُمُونِي صَلَّيْتُ الْعَصْرَ؟» قَالُوا لَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمُؤَذِّنَ فَأَذَّنَ ثُمَّ أَقَامَ فَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ وَنَقَصَ الْأُولَى ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Jum'ah Habib ibn Siba', who was from the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed Maghrib but had forgotten the Asr prayer. He said to his companions: 'Did you see me pray Asr?' They said: No, O Messenger of Allah. So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) ordered the mu'adhdhin, who gave the adhan, then the iqamah, and he prayed Asr, shortening the first, then he prayed Maghrib.
