Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:3435 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ ثنا هَوْذَةُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ ثنا عَوْفٌ عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَجُلٌ مِنَّا قَدْ صَاحَبَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُقَالُ لَهُ مَالِكٌ أَوْ أَبُو مَالِكٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَقَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَقْوَامًا مَا هُمْ بِأَنْبِيَاءَ وَلَا شُهَدَاءَ يَغْبِطُهُمُ الْأَنْبِيَاءُ وَالشُّهَدَاءُ كَأَنَّهُمْ مِنَ اللهِ ﷻ أَقْوَامٌ مِنْ قَبَائِلَ شَتَّى يَتَحَابُّونَ فِي اللهِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Narrated Shahr ibn Hawshab: There was a man among us who had accompanied the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), called Malik or Abu Malik. He said, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say, "I know of peoples who are neither prophets nor martyrs, yet the prophets and martyrs envy them for their closeness to Allah. They are peoples from various tribes who love one another for the sake of Allah."'
