Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1994 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْأَبَّارُ ثنا أَبُو الْأَصْبَغِ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ نُصَيْرِ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَشَى مَعَ جِنَازَةٍ وَرَكِبَ حِينَ أَقْبَلَ فَرَسًا عَرِيًّا لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا لِجَامُهُ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Jabir ibn Samurah said: 'Umar said to Sa'd: "Indeed, they have complained about you in everything — even in prayer." Sa'd said: "As for me, I extend the first two rak'ahs and shorten the last two, and I do not fall short in following the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)." 'Umar said: "That is what I thought of you, O Abu Ishaq."
