Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1332 حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ نُصَيْرٍ ثنا هِشَامُ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الضَّحَّاكِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَيْسَ عَلَى رَجُلٍ نَذْرٌ فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ وَلَعُنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَقَتْلِهِ وَمَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِشَيْءٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا عُذِّبَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ حَلَفَ بِمِلَّةٍ سِوَى الْإِسْلَامِ كَاذِبًا فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ وَمَنْ قَذَفَ مُؤْمِنًا بِكُفْرٍ فَهُوَ كَقَتْلِهِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "A person has no vow regarding what he does not possess. Cursing a believer is like killing him. Whoever kills himself with something in this world will be punished with it on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever swears by a religion other than Islam while lying, he is as he said. And whoever accuses a believer of disbelief, it is like killing him."
