Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:1319 حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصَفَّى ثنا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنِ الْجَرَّاحِ بْنِ الْمِنْهَالِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ الْخُرَسَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ شَمَّاسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الْتَفَتَ إِلَيَّ وَأَنَا أُصَلِّي فَجَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيَّ وَأَنَا أُصَلِّي فَلَمَّا فَرَغْتُ قَالَ «أَلَمْ تُصَلِّ مَعَنَا؟» قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ «فَمَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةُ؟» قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ خَرَجْتُ مِنْ مَنْزِلِي وَلَمْ أَكُنْ صَلَّيْتُهُمَا قَالَ فَلَمْ يَعِبْ ذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَيَّ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Thabit said: I came to the mosque while the Prophet (peace be upon him) was in prayer. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) gave the salutation, he turned toward me while I was praying. The Prophet (peace be upon him) kept looking at me while I was praying. When I finished, he said: "Did you not pray with us?" I said: "Yes." He said: "Then what is this prayer?" I said: "O Messenger of Allah, these are the two rak'ahs of Fajr (sunnah). I left my house without having prayed them." So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) did not disapprove of that.
