الترجمة الإنجليزية
Tamim al-Dari asked 'Umar for permission to tell stories (to the people). He refused to grant him permission. Then he asked him again and he refused. Then he asked a third time, and 'Umar said: "If you wish" — and he gestured with his hand, meaning slaughter (i.e., it will be the death of you).
