الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abbas narrated: Abdullah ibn Mas'ud came upon Abu Jahl on the Day of Badr while he was mortally wounded. He drew his sword and struck his neck, severing his head. Then he took his spoils and came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and informed him that he had killed Abu Jahl. He had him swear by Allah three times, and he swore. So he gave him his spoils.
