Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:12117 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا عَوْنُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو شَيْبَةَ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَرْمِي الْجِمَارَ عِنْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ قَدْرَ إِذَا مَا فَرَغَ مِنْ رَمْيِهِ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ»

Ibn Abbas narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to throw the pebbles at the time the sun passed its zenith, timing it so that when he finished throwing, he would pray Dhuhr.
