Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:12080 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ طَافَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْبَيْتِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ وَاسْتَلَمَ الرُّكْنَ بِمِحْجَنِهِ ثُمَّ أَتَى السِّقَايَةَ وَبَنُو عَمِّهِ يَنْزِعُونَ مِنْهَا فَدَعَا بِشَرَابٍ فَرُفِعَ إِلَيْهِ الدَّلْوُ فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ وَقَالَ «لَوْلَا أَنْ يَحْسِبَ النَّاسُ فَيَتَّخِذُونَهُ مَنْسَكًا فَيُقاتِلُونَكُمْ عَلَيْه��ا لَنَزَعْتُ مَعَكُمْ» ثُمَّ أَتَى الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ فَطَافَ بِهِمَا عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abbas narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed tawaf around the House on his mount and touched the corner (of the Kaaba) with his staff (mihjan). Then he came to the watering station (siqayah) while his cousins were drawing water. He asked for a drink, and the bucket was lifted to him. He drank from it and said: 'Were it not that the people would consider it a rite and fight you over it, I would draw water with you.' Then he went to al-Safa and al-Marwa and performed tawaf between them on his mount.
