Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11355 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ شِنْظِيرٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ إِنَّمَا كَانَ بَدْءُ الْإِيضَاعِ مِنْ قِبَلِ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ كَانُوا يَقِفُونَ حَافَتَيِ النَّاسِ وَقَدْ تَعَلَّقُوا الْقِسِيَّ وَالْجِعَابَ فَإِذَا نَفَرُوا تَقَعْقَعَتْ لَقَدْ رُئي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَأَنَّ ذِفْرَى نَاقَتِهِ لَتَمَسُّ حَارِكَهَا وَهُوَ يَقُولُ «يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالسَّكِينَةِ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالسَّكِينَةِ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The origin of the hastening (al-ida) was from the Bedouins. They would stand on both sides of the people with their bows and quivers hung on them. When they departed, their equipment would rattle. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was seen with the tip of his she-camel's head nearly touching her saddle, and he was saying: 'O people, you must maintain tranquility! O people, you must maintain tranquility!'
