Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:11169 حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الصَّائِغِ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْحَرَّانِيُّ عَنْ خُصَيْفٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «سَيَجِيءُ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ أَقْوَامٌ يَكُونُ وُجُوهُهُمْ وُجُوهَ الآدَمِيِّينَ وَقُلُوبُهُمْ قُلُوبَ الشَّيَاطِينِ أَمْثَالُ الذِّئَابِ الضَّوَارِيِّ لَيْسَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ شَيْءٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ سفَّاكُونَ لِلدِّمَاءِ لَا يَرْعَوُونَ عَنْ قَبِيحٍ إِنْ تابَعْتَهُمْ وَارْبُوكَ وَإِنْ تَوَارَيْتَ عَنْهُمُ اغْتَابُوكَ وَإِنْ حَدَّثُوكَ كَذَبُوكَ وَإِنِ ائْتَمَنْتَهُمْ خَانُوكَ صَبِيُّهُمْ عَامِرٌ وَشابُّهُمْ شاطرٌ وَشَيْخُهُمْ لَا يَأْمُرُ بِمَعْرُوفٍ وَلَا يَنْهَى عَنْ مُنْكَرٍ الِاعْتِزَازُ بِهِمْ ذُلٌّ وَطَلَبُ مَا فِي أَيْدِيهِمْ فَقْرٌ الْحَلِيمُ فِيهِمْ غاوٍ وَالْآمِرُ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ فِيهِمْ مُتَّهَمٌ الْمُؤْمِنُ فِيهِمْ مُسْتَضْعَفٌ وَالْفَاسِقُ فِيهِمْ مُشَرَّفٌ السُّنَّةُ فِيهِمْ بِدْعَةٌ وَالْبِدْعَةُ فِيهِمْ سُنَّةٌ فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ يُسَلَّطُ عَلَيْهِمْ شرارُهُمْ وَيَدْعُو خِيَارُهُمْ فَلَا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهُمْ»
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'There will come at the end of time peoples whose faces will be the faces of humans but whose hearts will be the hearts of devils, like ravenous wolves. There will be no mercy in their hearts. They will be shedders of blood, not refraining from anything evil. If you follow them, they will betray you; if you are absent from them, they will backbite you; if they speak to you, they will lie to you; and if you entrust them, they will betray you. Their young are unruly, their youth are immoral, and their elders do not enjoin good or forbid evil. Seeking honor through them brings humiliation, and seeking what they have brings poverty. The forbearing among them is considered misguided, the one who enjoins good among them is accused, the believer among them is considered weak, and the sinner among them is honored. The Sunnah among them is considered innovation, and innovation among them is considered Sunnah. At that time, the worst of them will be given authority over them, and the best of them will pray but their prayers will not be answered.'
