وعن جابر رضي الله عنه قال: قال رجل: أين أنا يا رسول الله إن قتلت؟ قال: “في الجنة " فألقى تمرات كن في يده ثم قاتل حتى قتل" ((رواه مسلم)).
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that a man asked the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him): "Tell me where I will be if I am killed while fighting in the way of Allah?" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) replied, "In Jannah." The man threw away the few dates which he had in his hand, jumped into the battlefield and fought on till he was killed.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! اگر میں شہید ہو جاؤں تو میں کہاں ہوں گا؟ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: جنت میں۔ تو اس نے اپنے ہاتھ میں جو کھجوریں تھیں پھینک دیں اور لڑتا رہا یہاں تک کہ شہید ہو گیا۔ (رواہ مسلم)
