وعن أبي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "من رضي بالله ربًا وبالإسلام دينًا، وبمحمد رسولا وجبت له الجنة" فعجب لها أبو سعيد فقال أعدها علي يا رسول الله فأعادها عليه ثم قال: "وأخرى يرفع الله بها العبد مائة درجة في الجنة، ما بين كل درجتين، كما بين السماء والأرض" قال: وما هي يا رسول الله؟ قال: "الجهاد في سبيل الله، الجهاد في سبيل الله" ((رواه مسلم)).
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "If anyone is pleased with Allah as his Rubb, with Islam as his religion and with Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as (Allah's) Messenger, surely, he will be entitled to enter Jannah." Hadrat Abu Sa'id was delighted with this and requested the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) to repeat it. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) repeated it again and then said, "There is also another act by which Allah will elevate the position of a (pious believing) slave in Jannah to a grade one hundred degrees higher. And the distance between any two grades is equal to the distance between heaven and earth." He asked the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) what it was and he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) replied, "Jihad in the way of Allah; Jihad in the way of Allah.".
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: جو شخص اللہ کو رب ماننے پر، اسلام کو دین ماننے پر اور محمد (صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو رسول ماننے پر راضی ہو، اس کے لیے جنت واجب ہو گئی۔ حضرت ابو سعید رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو تعجب ہوا اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! یہ بات مجھے دوبارہ بتائیں۔ تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے دوبارہ فرمایا، پھر ارشاد فرمایا: اور ایک اور عمل ہے جس سے اللہ تعالیٰ بندے کو جنت میں سو درجے بلند فرماتا ہے، ہر دو درجوں کے درمیان اتنا فاصلہ ہے جتنا آسمان اور زمین کے درمیان ہے۔ انہوں نے عرض کیا: وہ کون سا عمل ہے یا رسول اللہ؟ ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد۔ (رواہ مسلم)
