وعن أنس رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم جاء إلى سعد بن عبادة رضي الله عنه فجاء بخبز وزيت، فأكل ثم قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: "أفطر عندكم الصائمون وأكل طعامكم الأبرار وصلت عليكم الملائكة". ((رواه أبو داود بإسناد صحيح)).
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came to visit Sa'd bin Hadrat 'Ubadah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who presented bread and olive oil to him. The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) ate it and said, "The observers of fast have broken their fast with you (this is the literal translation, but the meaning is: 'May Allah reward you for providing a fasting people with food to break their fast'); the pious people have eat your food and the angels invoked blessings on you.".
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم حضرت سعد بن عبادہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے پاس تشریف لائے، انہوں نے روٹی اور زیتون کا تیل پیش کیا۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے تناول فرمایا پھر ارشاد فرمایا: 'تمہارے ہاں روزے داروں نے افطار کیا، نیک لوگوں نے تمہارا کھانا کھایا اور فرشتوں نے تمہارے لیے دعا کی۔'
