الخامس والعشرون: عن أبي موس رضي الله عنه ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "على كل مسلم صدقة" قال : أرأيت إن لم يجد؟ قال: أرأيت إن لم يستطع؟ قال: "يعين ذا الحاجة الملهوف" قال: أرأيت إن لم يستطع؟ قال: "يأمر بالمعروف أو الخير" قال : أرأيت إن لم يفعل؟ قال: يمسك عن الشر فإنها صدقة" ((متفق عليه)) .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported:the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "Giving in charity is an obligation upon every Muslim". It was said (to him): "What about one who does not find (the means) to do so?" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, "Let him work with his hands, thus doing benefit to himself and give in charity." It was said to him: "What if he does not have (the means) to do so?" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, "Then let him assist the needy, the aggrieved." It was said: "What about if he cannot even do this?" He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said, "Then he should enjoin good." He was asked: "What if he cannot do that?" He (the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) said, "He should then abstain from evil, for verily, that is a charity from him"..
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت ابو موسیٰ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ہر مسلمان پر صدقہ واجب ہے۔ عرض کیا: اگر کوئی نہ پائے؟ فرمایا: اپنے ہاتھ سے کام کرے اور اپنے آپ کو بھی فائدہ دے اور صدقہ بھی کرے۔ عرض کیا: اگر طاقت نہ رکھے؟ فرمایا: ضرورت مند بے بس کی مدد کرے۔ عرض کیا: اگر یہ بھی نہ کر سکے؟ فرمایا: نیکی اور بھلائی کا حکم دے۔ عرض کیا: اگر یہ بھی نہ کرے؟ فرمایا: شر سے رک جائے، یہی اس کا صدقہ ہے۔ (متفق علیہ)
