وعنه رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " والذي نفسي بيده لا تذهب الدنيا حتى يمر الرجل بالقبر، فيتمرغ عليه، ويقول: ياليتني مكان صاحب هذا القبر، وليس به الدين، ما به إلا البلاء" ((متفق عليه)).
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, "By Him in Whose Hand my soul is, the world will not come to an end until a man passes by a grave and will lie over it saying, 'Would that I were in this grave (i.e., dead)!' Not he will say so because of religious reasons but because of widespread mischief and severe trials of this world.".
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اس ذات کی قسم جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے! دنیا ختم نہ ہوگی جب تک کوئی شخص قبر کے پاس سے نہ گزرے اور اس پر لوٹ کر کہے: کاش میں اس قبر والے کی جگہ ہوتا۔ یہ بات دین کی وجہ سے نہیں بلکہ مصیبت کی وجہ سے ہوگی۔ (متفق علیہ)
