It is narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When you dispute about a road, make its width seven cubits." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 971]

سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: جب راستے کے متعلق تمہارا اختلاف ہو جائے تو اس کی چوڑان سات ہاتھ رکھ لو۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 971]
