Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace be upon him): He (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever frees his share in a slave, then his emancipation (i.e., the freeing of the remaining share too) shall be from his own wealth, if he is wealthy. If he is not wealthy, then the slave shall work and earn (to pay for the rest), without being forced (beyond his capacity)." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 894]
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہآپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: جو شخص اپنا حصہ غلام میں آزاد کر دے، اس کا چھڑانا (یعنی دوسرے حصہ کا بھی آزاد کرنا) بھی اسی کے مال سے ہو گا اگر مالدار ہو اگر مالدار نہ ہو تو غلام محنت مزدوری کرے اور اس پر جبر نہ کریں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 894]
