Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The best of fasts after the fasts of Ramadan are the fasts of Muharram, which is the month of Allah, the Exalted; and the best prayer after the obligatory prayer is the prayer of the night (tahajjud)."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: رمضان کے روزوں کے بعد سب روزوں میں سے افضل محرم کے روزے ہیں، جو اللہ تعالیٰ کا مہینہ ہے اور فرض نماز کے بعد افضل نماز رات (تہجد) کی نماز ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 610]
