Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "O people, Allah, the Exalted, is pure (that is, free of the attributes of coming-into-being and of any defect or decline), and He accepts nothing but pure wealth (that is, the lawful). Allah the Pure has commanded the believers with the same as He commanded the messengers, and He said: 'O company of messengers, eat of good things and do righteous deeds; I know your deeds well,' and He said: 'O you who believe, eat of the good things We have provided you.'" Then he mentioned a man who makes long journeys, dishevelled, covered in dust, and stretches his hands to the heaven saying: O Lord, O Lord! — while his food is unlawful, his drink is unlawful, his clothing is unlawful, and his nourishment is unlawful; so how shall his supplication be answered?
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: اے لوگو! اللہ تعالیٰ پاک ہے (یعنی صفات حدوث اور صفات نقص و زوال سے) اور نہیں قبول کرتا مگر پاک مال (یعنی حلال کو) اور اللہ پاک نے مومنوں کو وہی حکم کیا جو مرسلین کو حکم کیا اور فرمایا کہ”اے رسولوں کی جماعت! کھاؤ پاکیزہ چیزیں اور نیک عمل کرو میں تمہارے کاموں کو جانتا ہوں“اور فرمایا کہ”اے ایمان والو کھاؤ پاک چیزیں جو ہم نے تمہیں دیں“پھر ذکر کیا ایسے مرد کا جو کہ لمبے لمبے سفر کرتا ہے، پراگندہ حال ہے، گرد و غبار میں بھرا ہے اور پھر ہاتھ آسمان کی طرف اٹھاتا ہے اور کہتا ہے کہ اے رب، اے رب! حالانکہ اس کا کھانا حرام ہے، پینا حرام ہے، اس کا لباس حرام ہے اور اس کی غذا حرام ہے پھر اس کی دعا کیسے قبول ہو؟[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 540]
