Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace be upon him): He (peace be upon him) said: "There are seven kinds of people whom Allah, the Exalted, will shade under His shade (that is, beneath the Throne) on the day when there will be no shade but His: a just ruler (who judges according to the Book and the Sunnah, whether he be a king or a magistrate); a young man who grew up in the worship of Allah; a man whose heart is attached to the mosque; two men who love one another for the sake of Allah, meeting for that and parting for that; a man (so God-fearing) whom a woman of rank and wealth calls to fornication, and he says: I fear Allah (and refrains from fornication); a man who gives charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has spent (there is confusion in this wording; the correct version is that the left hand does not know what the right hand has spent); and a man who remembers Allah in solitude and his eyes overflow with tears (out of love or fear of Allah)."
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہآپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: سات قسم کے لوگ ایسے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ان کو اپنے سایہ میں جگہ دے گا (یعنی عرش کے نیچے) جس دن اس کے سوا اور کوئی سایہ نہ ہو گا۔ ایک تو حاکم منصف (جو کتاب و سنت کے مطابق فیصلہ کرے خواہ بادشاہ ہو خواہ کوتوال ہو)، دوسرے وہ جوان جو اللہ کی عبادت کے ساتھ بڑھا ہو، تیسرے وہ شخص جس کا دل مسجد ہی میں لگا رہے، چوتھے وہ دو شخص جو آپس میں اللہ کے واسطے محبت کریں اور اسی کے لئے ملیں اور اسی کے لئے جدا ہوں، پانچویں وہ شخص (جو مرد ایسا متقی ہو) کہ اسے کوئی حسب نسب والی مالدار عورت زنا کے لئے بلائے اور وہ کہے کہ میں اللہ سے ڈرتا ہوں (اور زنا سے باز رہے)، چھٹے وہ شخص جو صدقہ ایسے چھپا کر دے کہ دائیں کو خبر نہ ہو کہ بائیں ہاتھ نے کیا خرچ کیا (اس عبارت میں اضطراب ہے۔ صحیح یہ ہے کہ بائیں ہاتھ کو خبر نہ ہو کہ دائیں ہاتھ نے کیا خرچ کیا ہے) ساتویں جو اللہ کو اکیلے میں یاد کرے اور اس کے آنسو ٹپک پڑیں (اللہ کی محبت یا خوف کی وجہ سے)[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 537]
