Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): Sulayk al-Ghatafani came on Friday while the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was seated upon the pulpit. Sulayk (may Allah be pleased with him) sat down without praying. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Have you prayed two rak'ahs?" He said, "No." So he said: "Get up and pray them." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim/Hadith: 420]

سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہسلیک غطفانی جمعہ کے دن آئے اور رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلممنبر پر بیٹھے تھے۔ اور سلیک رضی اللہ عنہ بغیر نماز پڑھے بیٹھ گئے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ تم نے دو رکعت پڑھی؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ نہیں، تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اٹھو اور ان کو پڑھ لو۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 420]
