Narrated Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): Indeed I do not fall short in praying with you the way the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to pray with us. (Thabit) said: Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) used to do something which I do not see you doing: when he raised his head from bowing, he would stand up straight, so long that one would say he had forgotten; and when he raised his head from prostration, he would pause so long that one would say he had forgotten (i.e., he would remain for a long time). الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہبیشک میں تمہارے ساتھ اس طرح نماز پڑھنے میں کوتاہی نہیں کرتا جس طرح رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمہمارے ساتھ پڑھتے تھے۔ (ثابت نے) کہا کہ سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ ایک کام کرتے تھے میں تمہیں وہ کام کرتے ہوئے نہیں دیکھتا کہ جب وہ رکوع سے سر اٹھاتے تو سیدھے کھڑے ہوتے یہاں تک کہ کہنے والا کہتا کہ وہ بھول گئے۔ اور جب سجدہ سے سر اٹھاتے تو اتنا ٹھہرتے کہ کہنے والا کہتا کہ وہ بھول گئے۔ (یعنی دیر تک ٹھہرے رہتے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 329]
