Narrated Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to teach us the Tashahhud just as he used to teach us the surahs of the Noble Quran, and he (peace be upon him) used to say, "The blessed verbal acts of worship, and the bodily acts of worship, and the financial acts of worship are all for Allah. O Prophet (peace be upon him), peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us too, and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that none is worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the servant and Messenger of Allah" (peace be upon him). And in the narration of Ibn Rumh it says that he (peace be upon him) used to teach it (the Tashahhud) like the Noble Quran.
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمہمیں تشہد اس طرح سکھایا کرتے تھے جس طرح قرآن کریم کی سورتیں سکھاتے تھے اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرمایا کرتے تھے کہ”زبانی عبادتیں جو برکت والی ہیں اور بدنی عبادتیں اور مالی عبادتیں تمام کی تمام اللہ کے لئے ہیں۔ اے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمآپ پر سلام ہو اور اللہ کی رحمت ہو اور اس کی برکتیں ہوں، ہم پر بھی سلام ہو اور اللہ کے نیک بندوں پر بھی سلام ہو۔ میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ محمدصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماللہ کے بندے اور اس کے رسول ہیں“(صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم)۔ اور ابن رمح کی روایت میں ہے کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم(تشہد) قرآن کریم کی طرح سکھایا کرتے تھے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 305]
