Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to teach us and say, "Do not do anything before the imam. When he says the takbir, then say the takbir; and when he says 'wa lad-dallin,' then you say 'Amin' afterwards; and when he bows, then you bow afterwards; and when he says 'Sami Allahu liman hamidah,' then you say afterwards 'Rabbana lakal-hamd.'"
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمہمیں تعلیم دیتے اور فرماتے تھے کہ امام سے پہلے کوئی کام نہ کرنا، جب وہ تکبیر کہے ‘ اس وقت تکبیر کہنا اور جب وہ ولا الضالین کہے تو تم بعد میں آمین کہو اور جب وہ رکوع کرے تو تم بعد میں رکوع کرو اور جب وہ”سمع اﷲ لمن حمدہ“کہے تو تم اس کے بعد”ربنا لک الحمد“کہو۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 275]
