Narrated Abdullah bin Masud (may Allah be pleased with them): The polytheists prevented the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) from the Asr prayer until the sun turned red or yellow. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "They have kept us from the Asr prayer, the middle prayer. May Allah fill their bellies and their graves with fire." (Or he said: May Allah fill their bellies and their graves with fire.)
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو نماز عصر سے مشرکوں نے روک دیا، یہاں تک کہ سورج سرخ یا زرد ہو گیا پس آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ انہوں نے ہمیں نماز عصر، نماز وسطیٰ سے روک دیا ہے، اللہ ان کے پیٹوں اور قبروں کو آگ سے بھر دے۔ (یا کہا: حشا اﷲ اجوافہم و قبورھم ناراً)[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 217]
