الترجمة الإنجليزية
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Abdullah ibn Ubayy ibn Salul had two slave-girls named Musayka and Umayma. He used to compel both of them to commit fornication. They complained about him to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and then this verse was revealed: "And do not compel your slave-girls to prostitution if they desire chastity... Indeed, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful" — to the end.
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہعبداللہ بن ابی ابن سلول کی مسیکہ اور امیمہ نامی دو لونڈیاں تھیں۔ وہ دونوں کو زنا پر مجبور کرتا تھا۔ انہوں نے اس کی شکایت رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے کی، تب یہ آیت اتری کہ”اور اپنی لونڈیوں کو زناکاری پر مجبور نہ کرو اگر وہ خود پاکدامن رہنا چاہتی ہوں .... بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ غفور رحیم ہے“تک۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2155]
