Narrated Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him): The mu'adhdhin of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) intended to call the adhan for Zuhr, but the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Let it cool down, let it cool down," or he said: "Wait a while, wait a while." And he said: "The intensity of the heat is from the exhalation of Hell. So when the heat is intense, pray the prayer when it has cooled." Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We waited until we saw the shadows of the mounds.
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے مؤذن نے ظہر کی اذان کہنے کا ارادہ کیا تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ ذرا ٹھنڈا ہونے دو، ذرا ٹھنڈا ہونے دو یا فرمایا کہ ذرا انتظار کرو ذرا انتظار کرو۔ اور فرمایا کہ گرمی کی شدت جہنم کی بھاپ سے ہے۔ پھر جب گرمی شدت کی ہو تو نماز کو ٹھنڈے وقت ادا کرو۔ سیدنا ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ یہاں تک انتظار کیا کہ ہم نے ٹیلوں کے سائے دیکھ لئے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 212]
