Sayyiduna Uqba ibn Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Do you not see that tonight some verses have been revealed the like of which have never been seen? They are 'Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak' and 'Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind.'"
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: تم نہیں دیکھتے کہ آج کی رات ایسی آیتیں اتریں ہیں کہ ان جیسی (سورتیں) کبھی نہیں دیکھی گئیں اور وہ ((قل اعوذ بربّ الفلق)) اور ((قل اعوذ بربّ النّاس)) ہیں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2101]
